Why do we need to be saved and what do we need to be saved from? Heaven is a place of pure holiness. God , Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the angels of God and man dwell there. The only people who can end up there are pure and holy. Are we pure and holy? I do not think any of us would call ourselves pure or holy. We all know we fall short when it comes to being holy. We have all sinned as they say. Do we want to live with our Father God or not? We can not live in a place of holiness unless we become holy. There is only one way known to man to enter into that realm of being considered holy. That is to have our sins covered up some how or erased so we can stand in the presence of Almighty God. That is where Jesus comes in. He who was without any sin at all paid the sacrifice for us. In other words He took our place. When God sees us and all of our sinfullness He sees His Son and we are then clean. We are what they call washed in His blood. His blood was shed so we could be pure before God. Even though we are not pure a sacrifice was made on our behalf to make sure we are considered clean. Hell is for unbelievers who refuse to accept the sacrifice of Jesus. No one gets in without Him because no one is pure enough to enter into the gates of Heaven without cleansing. We accept what Jesus did for us and thank the Father for having so much love for us that He gave His only Son that the rest of us children can be with Him too. That is the truest of love and we really need to see it for what it is. We are what we are because of sin and we can not escape our fate of eternal damnation for it. Jesus set us all free from judgement! We make the choice either to believe that or not. We also make the choice of wanting God in our lives or not. God will never force us to accept Him. He wants us to love Him too. Loving God means following Jesus into His Kingdom which is functioning in this world. The world does not want to accept a God that they have to obey. Obeying God is not punishment but true freedom. Why is that? Because God knows who we are and what we need as His children to be happy. The more we fight His will for us the more unhappy we become. Each trial is perfecting us to be like Jesus who is the first born among many brothers and of course sisters.  Now that you know why will you accept Jesus so you can live for eternity with your true Father who is in heaven? Jesus himself told us that anyone who says they know God without accepting Him, Jesus, is deceived. Without believing in Jesus we may think we know God but Christ Himself said we do not. Jesus said that He and the Father are one. He who sees me sees the Father He told us. Believe on the Son!
