26“If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27“If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges.

28“But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29“Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

When did Jesus give his disciples authority?



1 And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.
-Luke 9:1
 

Why did Jesus give the disciples authority?

​

This seems like an obvious question but it meant that Jesus wanted the disciples to use their authority to cast out demons and to heal.
The disciples went out in the Name of Jesus. He gave them authority and power; To do Exactly like he did!

 

 

Principle #1 Satan does not cast out Satan.

​

Principle #2 Jesus made it apparent that the kingdom of God is actually manifested spiritually through The Holy Spirit.

​

Principle #3 We must get this: That we have authority over Satan. He is the strong man referred to here by Jesus. He gave the disciples authority.
